Volta Cover
Buyers pay the agreed item price through Stripe. A 7% Volta fee is deducted from the seller's proceeds, and the exact amount is shown before checkout.
Stripe processes payment at checkout. Volta delays the separate seller transfer until both people confirm collection. This is a protected marketplace process, not legal escrow; see the Buyer Protection terms for eligibility and exclusions.
Fees shown clearly. Buyers see what they pay and sellers see the fee and expected proceeds before payment.
Secure Stripe checkout. Volta never receives or stores the buyer's card details.
Two-person handover. Seller proceeds transfer only after buyer and seller both confirm collection.
Support before confirmation. If something is materially wrong, stop and contact Volta before confirming the handover.
